In the footer of my site there seems to be a bit of text that says (unnamed) how can I change this. Any help is appreciated.

Go to Setup > Configuration > Site options and change the text in the Site copyright option.

Do you have a Samsung Galaxy S / Galaxy S II ? If so, why not check out my ScreenFree FM Radio .

This is all I see here for any option concerning the copyright. I have attached an image.

That sure is strange, the copyright field isn't there at all. What if you try on another browser? Does it happen to other fields?

All I can think is if you've made some kind of CSS edit on the default theme that is hiding it?

Not sure I am using the default theme tbh. I am fairly new at ocp so...I have made a few changes since I installed, lol. I know I have made a few new themes or copies of the default one anyway. Changed some colors but that was about it. That field there has been like that since I installed ocp. I just figured it had to be edited in a file somewhere.

I suppose something like an ad blocker might be removing it if it thinks anything with "copyright" in is ad-like.

Looked at my ad blocker and the site is listed as an exception so it can't be that. What file is that in. Can I change it that way. ??

You can go into OcCLE (Tools menu) and type…

Code

edit /etc/copyright

And you then get a little edit box with a save button.

However I am intrigued by the cause. Have you tried a different browser?

Now, this is weird. After doing what you suggested I decided to check there again in IE and FF. In FF the field is not there but in IE it now is there and has the right text in it. This tells me it is FF doing this and nothing else. Guess I will check the rest of the sttings to make sure I didn't miss anything. Thanks for the help. Not to sure why FF would be blocking just one field though.

Have you tried clearing the browser cache in FF?
