Just wanted to thank Chris, Fletch, BobS and Temp for their help over the past couple of months. You will have noticed that every 10 days or so i go on a 'fix it' mission and flood the forums with threads.

You are all very patient with me, and i wanted to say thanks...that comes from my readers as well :)

The 'like' is for your discerning users; from you I can accept a tentative promise to continue in these forums and start helping out noobs when they ask questions about issues that appear insurmountable at the outset!

I cant offer much in return for the help, but i look forward to being to provide future fellow noobs with the help that has been so generously given to me  

I also plan on writing a few more tutorials like the one i did for guest blog posting … i will share them around if i think they are good enough. Which reminds me, i promised Bob i would write an article about guest blog posting. Here it is, i hope it helps Bob!

I also have written about 30 articles on what i've learned since i started blogging. They are mostly practical tips on how to avoid making the same mistakes i've made, maybe ocP users will find them useful as well.

You are offering back to the community in all the ways you mentioned. You can also like a post if it strikes you as particularly useful and you can also use your gift points to show appreciation to others, especially when they help with a complex issue.

Thanks for the article. I have actually tried most of what you suggest including contacting family members and friends of the artist to share their memories and recollection of this gifted but quirky artist. A number have agreed to do contribute articles, but they just never quite get around to it. I'd be happy if they would even participate in the forums. Julian's son, Michael, thinks that a number of these people simply find it difficult to write and those who can are often put into an emotional state as they recall Julian.

Fortunately, I will be receiving a couple hundred raw interviews that were done in the late 1980s. Hopefully these will entice some to comment on what they previously said.

I need to check out the rest of your articles when I get a chance. I know one area where I fall down is in blogging consistently myself but there are just so many hours in a day and I have other priorities like writing the basic biographical information and researching his art.

I was thinking earlier that i should start liking more posts, but the thumbs up are a bit hidden so i keep forgetting lol. Will make sure i start doing it more in future, i've certainly had a lot of replies that deserve it.

Hope you find some of my other articles useful, i've covered almost all aspects of blogging in there one way or another, and there is still a lot more to write
