Can you please look at my site to see whats wrong?

I have noticed when viewing our site at ProgRock.com, especially using Chrome, that the site refreshes a few times when first loading it.  I have looked at the source and cant figure out what is making it do this.

Any input at all will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jerry

Facebook Connect will do this when reestablishing an active session. It happens in Javascript, so a refresh is required to make sure the server-generated content matches the login.

Sometimes it seems as if it refreshes 4 or 5 times.  Is this normal?  And it only happens in Chrome as far as I can tell.

In the Admin Zone->Setup->Configuration->Site Options->Caches, do you have the Advanced Admin Cache enabled? I think that can cause an extra refresh when you are logged in as an admin.

Thanks Jason, that can indeed cause a visual flash.

But my general action - no, it should be once. Open up the network panel in your browser and track what it is doing. Is it really doing it that many times at a network level?

I do not have the admin cache turn on.
It definitely has to do with facebook.
Once I am logged in to the site, it does not refresh anymore.

These are a couple of the errors I am getting on the javascript console:

  1. Unsafe JavaScript attempt to access frame with URL http://static.ak.facebook.com/connect/xd_arbiter.php?version=24#channel=f23…com&channel_path=%2Fpr%2Findex.php%3Ffb_xd_fragment%23xd_sig%3Df41092b7%26 from frame with URL http://progrock.com/pr/index.php. The frame being accessed set 'document.domain' to 'facebook.com', but the frame requesting access did not. Both must set 'document.domain' to the same value to allow access. javascript_staff___merged.js:58

The frame requesting access has a protocol of 'http', the frame being accessed has a protocol of 'https'. Protocols must match.

Oh yes, I think we may have fixed this. I can't remember if the fix is in an updated addon, just as a hotfix, or only in git - but it should be out at some point.

The JS error always happens and is unrelated to ocPortal.

If you're not running the latest version of the addon, upgrade. If there's a hotfix (check for any for Facebook), install that. Otherwise wait for the next patch release, when we'd likely update changed non-bundled addons too.
