I love using Google when I bored - you'd be amazed what critera you can come up and what the results are for it. :) Anyhow, I was Googling and found this site running ocPortal. It looks to me as if they're running a really early version, but it could be modded too - I don't know.

Got to love the Javascript menu's! If this is an early version, why weren't these menu effects added in future versions? :(

Err, taking a second look at pages on this website and the modules, I'd say it was an earlier version. Usually a product uses more CSS and images as future versions develop.

ya and the cedi on that is called speedy a give away for me.

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

Yeah, that was back when we had this philosiphy of boxing in as many things as possible. I'm trying to phase that out… we're still in the process of doing that, though. The front page redesign of version 3 was a huge shift from what you're looking at.

What menu 'feature' are you talking about that we removed?

I think what Allen is trying to say is that they've cleaned up the way content is displayed. In earlier versions, boxes were used in which everything was wrapped in, but now with version 3, you can also have content outside of the boxes.

I was wondering why the javascript menu's were removed in version 3. If you click on any one of the first links in any one box, it will expand/collapse sublinks underneath the link. Although the more I look at it, it seems a bit pointless to have the javascript expand/collapse feature.

I did not see that and I remember when I made menus that did that for the IPB part of my site. Some people liked them some people did not.
I made it a little different as it would save the members configuration in a cookie so if they had closed a menu it would stay closed it actually used the same script that is used to expand and collapse the stats and forums.

Allen, I myself like how the content was displayed in boxes. I've wrapped a few Comcode pages in quote tags - it just makes content seperation much nicer (well, in my opinion).

I agree to a point.
I just do not like to many boxes all over the place.
