Moving forward with Composr

ocPortal has been relaunched as Composr CMS, which is now in beta. ocPortal 9 will be superseded by Composr 10.

Head over to compo.sr for our new site, and to our migration roadmap. Existing ocPortal member accounts have been mirrored.

The son of a friend of mine is heavily involved in this smart little app - if you are a CHROME user. I've been using it for a couple of months now, and it appears that the proggy does what it says on the tin. You might be surprised at the result!

On my Linux system, it saves about 20 mb per tab when activated. 200 mb may not be much on my system with 3 gigs of memory, but when you have a lot of tabs open on a low memory system, that can be very beneficial when working on something requiring several tabs open at one time.
