Las Venturas Roleplay/Cops/Robbers - Index

I can't seem to get the alignment of the tabs working correctly. I've tried everything but I can't seem to get the thing working.

I want the tabs CENTERED directly underneath the banner. I want it so regardless of how many tabs there are, they are always automatically centered underneath the banner.

Code

#toolbar {
height:30px;
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;
padding:0pt;
top:130px;
}

Please tell me what I'm doing wrong. Thanks.

Code

#toolbar {
height:30px;
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;
padding:0pt;
top:115px;
}
Try that

I run http://otakuplayground.com and am hopping to make themes and other things for ocportal even though I no longer use it for otakuplayground.com I still love it and feel it could go far with the right help. It needs themes and needs people to advertise for it.

Changing the top property won't do anything, especially because there is no position property, so the top property is being ignored basically.

Oh I read what you wanted wrong.
I think you need to added text align center to the css.

I don't think you understand. :P

I'm not trying to center the text, but the tabs themselves. I don't believe that property aligns objects. :P

Oh sorry its been a long day, well busy actually so you want to center it where it says lvrcr? It already covers up part of it so if you did that it would cover up more.

Hey Joe,

I have no idea 'precisely' what you're trying to achieve, but I played around a bit with your source code and came up with this …

as you can see, the toolbar is centred, and it is in the 'black space' below the banner which is what I thought you wanted, but I could be way off base!

This is what I did in FF (Firebug) and you can probably follow exactly where I moved things …

And here is the 'edit' I did to achieve the effect …

However, none of this is a CSS solution, so you may wish to discount anything I've suggested.

Be Happy.

Take my advice. I'm not using it!
