V9.0.2

When I edited the images in the top menu panel via the menu editor, and then changed them to other images, an uploaded image, or even "none", I continue to get the following error:

An image code (menu_items/tree_win) was referenced that does not exist

The menus work normally but the error message gets displayed about 50% of the time.

Ah, this is a subtle bug. It seems that because the default theme hasn't 'discovered' that theme image yet, even though it is a custom image (comes from the ocIconMap addon), you're editing it in your own theme which is removing the original file as that isn't referenced now. Then the default theme can't use the theme image so is throwing errors.

It'd be best to create a new theme image in the default theme and reference that.

We'll fix the bug though.

I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

OK, I'll wait a while before I spew out the many 'cannot find' errors I keep getting.

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

Still getting the error in 9.04. I know you guys are on vacation. Just wanted to make sure that this issue does not fall by the wayside.

This was fixed, but you probably need to reupload a themes/default/images_custom/menu_items/tree_win.png file to stop it getting confused.

It's hard to explain exactly what happened there clearly, but ensuring this file exists should solve it.
