I'm back and gonna start a new site.

Hi ocPortalians  
I haven't around here for awhile (been very busy with some projects)
I now want to start another site and I think it's going to be a big undertaking and probably over my knowledgeable head, so I may be asking allot of questions on here once I start.

I will say though before I decided to do this upcoming site project I combed the internet (purely out of curiosity) to look at other cms software and the features they offered. I installed a few to try out their features that looked promising and I must say I still find ocPortal the easiest to learn (especially for a novice like me) and it has the most features, however there are some features I would like in ocPortal and then I realized that I could probably still incorporate what I need.

One more thing…the forums here are soooooo much better and friendlier then most of the other ones I have come across (which of course is another reason I like ocPortal)

Anyways I'm done blabbing and I can't wait to start my new site.

ocPortal is really good as it is and the changes planned for v8 are very encouraging.

ocPortal is not only great now, it appears that it will continue to outshine the competition in the near-future as it is steadily improved by the developers.

Welcome back, Gerald. Amazing how 'real-life' can drag us away from things we actually enjoy doing.
