I'm new here and I was from invisionfree for 4 years, and I decided to give up on that. This site seems great for me and I want to know how to create a fourms? Is it easy to do?

Thanks.

Marc,

Just download and install the ocPortal software. There are options during the install process to include the built-in ocPortal forums or one of several other 3rd party forums. If you are starting from scratch I would recommend just using the built in Forums as the integration with the rest of the site will be much better as it was written for this Portal.

Marc,

Just go to the front of the site at www.ocportal.com From there you can view the movie about it at www.ocportal.com/pg/start or the features at www.ocportal.com/site/pg/features and from there go to Start Construction at www.ocportal.com/site/pg/sites/get where it will walk you through downloading it.

After reviewing all of that and seeing the vast depth of the program and after setting up a site a using it for a while I think that you will realize that there is just one choice. Buy the program to help support the further development of this amazing system. I have only been using this system for less than 2 months (15 Jan 08) but in that time have seen a Minor update / bug fix release, as well as about 20 or 30 questions answered that where critical in getting my site up and running. There have been rumors/mentions of a new 4.0 major release being worked on. The support here is amazing and very responsive so please consider purchasing your copy at https://ocportal.com/site/pg/purchase, you'll feel better after you do knowing that it will only make the system better.

P.S. I have no connection to this site and make nothing whatsoever from promoting it, I am just a very passionate and satisfied ocPortal customer.
