Try this:
  • Build a Custom Comcode tag and entitle it something easy to remember - like [vid].
  • Then, either you or your users, only need to sandwich the URL of the video you want to stream between the two comcode tags [vid] ... and ... [/vid].
  • You will need to insert this bit of code (in the correct place where you are building your custom comcode tag) for it to work …

Code

<div align="center">
<object id="MediaPlayer" width="400" height="350" classid="CLSID:22D6F312-B0F6-11D0-94AB-0080C74C7E95"
standby="Loading Windows Media Player components..." type="application/x-oleobject">
<param name="FileName" value="{content}">
<param name="ShowControls" value="true">
<param name="ShowStatusBar" value="false">
<param name="ShowDisplay" value="true">
<param name="autostart" value="false">
<embed type="application/x-mplayer2" src="{content}" name="MediaPlayer"
width="400" height="350" splashscreenimage="1" showcontrols="1" showstatusbar="0" showdisplay="1" autostart="0"></embed>
</object>
</div>
  • Where you see {content} is where the tag expects to see the URL of the vid you want to show on your site.

That should work for you …!!

Take my advice. I'm not using it!
