ftp program do you use?

I my self use IE, for uplaods, and wize ftp or smart ftp for every thing else. 

I use SmartFTP.

I use Nautilus, and sometimes the Linux ftp command.

O for linux i use the file manager cuz I can edit files right from the ftp window.

I use SmartFTP. I tried to look for some other FTP programs, but it seemed like SmartFTP was the best.

DOnt really know about that, since sometimes it makes my pc freak out and do weird stuff  

I'm actually still using the old 1.x version of SmartFTP - I'm reluctant to upgrade because I'm not sure if I'll like it .

I've seen it in action on other computers, though - I'll need to really play with it, I think.

CuteFTP for me, works like a charm

Last night i went from Smart FTP to CuteFTP, cute has a better interface im loving it

I either use WS_ftp or Wise FTP. I bought WS and was given Wise FTP by my host company.

WS_ftp for me also.

Filezilla : it's the best and open source

How do you set smart ftp to resume when the connection is terminated or fails?
I have been getting that a lot and not sure why.
It does not do it in linux only in windows so I need to know how to set smart ftp to resume if some thing happens to the connection.
It does reconnect but does not finish the upload.

I use SmartFTP.  It's work for me.

I've always used smartftp but it is a commercial product now. If your looking for a good open source ftp client try FileZilla.

Now I've switched to using Apple Macs, I use Cyberduck.

I use Filezilla with Windoze and gFTP with Linux.

As of right now I use filezilla on both linux and windows.
Although I some times use Konquaror for ftp on linux.
I do use gftp as well and even winscp which does work on linux even though it is made for windows.

I used to use SmartFTP &  FlashFXP, but it turns out their weekness is lots of files. I have literally 50,000+ files in one directory on my server, and every time I would load up SmartFTP or FlashFXP, it would freeze up.

Now I use CoreFTP. It's not as good as FlashFXP (I like that one), but it's reliable and can handle loading large directories without freezing up.

yep that file issue is why I stopped using smartftp.
file zilla does not have that issue but gftp does.
