I am creating a FreeBSD port for ocportal (those of you who don't know what FreeBSD ports are then ignore this thread) And I would like people who have FreeBSD installed on a server with root access to test it.

if anyone is interested please drop me a email chris at cpetservices dot com and I will give you instructions.

After much work, Dev machine's PSU going bad me buying a new one and it was defective and had to RMA it I recently was sent my new one after 2 months waiting.

I finally managed to create the port with 1 issue still being open which is the distfile FreeBSD's ports system is unable to cope with files being downloaded using php scripts. But if anyone wants to test the port please reply here and I will give details on how to test this.

@ocportal staff:
FreeBSD ports system has a way of showing the license of programs used I went ahead and made text/EN/licence.txt viewable to users. if you want this changed please let me know as well.

A link to the files can be viewed here:
Index of /freebsdports/ocportal

Currently testing the port to see if all files are removed when uninstalled at 4700+ files it is not easy :)

Port is now ready to be sent to the freebsd commiters.

I have updated the port files and I also added a package if anyone wants to test.

Ah I forgot the License check is disabled but I promise it will be enabled when I submit the port, Due to the way tinderbox works it wont allow me to test the port due to the fact that the License is manually added so the user needs to accept it something that is not allowed when using BATCH mode which doesn't show options dialogs for ports that have them.

Port was submitted with 1 minor issue which was fixed today. Would be nice if more people tested it.
