I have carefully followed the recommendations of Chris, Robbie, Allen and other forum members when they have mentioned image compression software, mainly ones that compress PNGs. I have always been grateful for the pointers!

Here's one that compresses JPG/JPEG images and does a fine job, too. And, it is lightning fast!

That was a quick-and-dirty experiment, picking on the first image that came up in one of my folders. I'm sure that with a bit more attention I could get better results, but as an example it should suffice.

Enjoy!

Oooops… The software is called Caesium, and is probably worth adding to your 'imaging' box of tricks.

Take my advice. I'm not using it!
