Before I muddy up the bug reports section with these two, if anyone could confirm or negate these items on their install that would be great. IIRC, the problem arose after a recent upgrade, 4.3.x:

1) Firebug - doesn't matter what style sheet is being found/used or where the element is actually located in the style sheet, when inspecting page elements, it is always line 4 for everything.

Sometimes I will leave a certain entry in the style sheet and then override it with another entry in my customization section. In this instance, it will show two entries, one line 4 and the next one is the real line number.

2) When adding/editing a menu title, double clicking in the text field moves the page focus down from the "Branches" section to "Edit selected field".

I have not done extensive testing as of yet, but if others are noticing this then I will. If not, personal problem on this end! ;)

I think that you are on to something here, SoccerDad!
I can confirm that indeed, Firebug is always line 4 for everything on my newer deployed sites. I haven't had a chance to verify your other points, but I'll check that out soon.

Firebug seems to have the precise line numbers for previous versions.

Thanks,
Jean

How strange indeed - everything does seem to happen on line 4.

I think it's probably our CSS minification at work.

Using &keep_no_minify=1 on URLs will cause ocPortal to not minify CSS if you want to use the line numbers more meaningfully.

I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

Thanks for checking that out for me Islander and Friendly!

*grin*, will you look at that lol. Thanks Chris! Adding that string fixes things up dandy. 'tiz a good solid workaround as Firebug is only really needed during dev time and one can add that string as required.
