My site is more for meetings and so bar the odd event which is an all weekend one most things are 9-5 and early evening. Its a shame that the calendar always starts at midnight and therefore my users have to scroll down so far.

My question is ....

How do I either remove the hours of 12 am till 8am and 8pm till midnight from weekview and day view or if that is not possible then how do I get the weekview and dayview to start at 8am and move the rest of the hours to the bottom of the calendar?

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

No offence intended.

It was only meant as a good-humoured response to Chris suggesting that we all have the ability to interrogate and use the information lodged on github. It is probably second-nature to him, but I don't think he realises the absolute 'horror' with which some of us I view it.

Ah, well, can't win 'em all …!!

Thanks Fletch.

I think I found the ROTFLMAO! comment a bit over the top without the context you have since gave.
