I just caught up on all the topics in the issue tracker. It's really quite impressive how much has been fixed and a tribute to Chris's dedication to make ocPortal the best CMS possible.

I noted that some items relating to version 9 are noted in the issue tracker; I think that any tracker item containing a hot fix should show the tarted version to make it easy to search out results pertinent to a specific relaease. Ideally, it would also be good to show the "Fixed in release" even if it was just a reference to "next release" or "next major release".

The bugs database is the place to browse for fixes. This links to the tracker for each issue.

Ahh, yes. Is there a direct link to the bugs database? Perhaps a link should be included in the admin frontpage.

It should be - should be in the version information block.

Hmmm….I'm either blind or something is amiss. Was this added after version 8.1 (I thought I was on version 8.1.1)?

Ah, it only shows if you are running the latest version. This is because we don't want to flood the user with info – and they're better off upgrading to an existing release than manually tracking lots of hotfixes.
(If someone is held back on a release it presumably is stable for them so again they don't need to be going through hotfixes – or they can Google for it if they like)
