Embed youtube videos or any other video URL

would love to be able to embed a video instead of having to make it a download or upload a video thats already on another site such as youtube

You can do this yourself in about 10 minutes using custom comcode tags:

Allen, thanks for that video.   I was more interested in youtube/vimeo video's in the forums.

I did notice under comcode help it shows a youtube tag.   Is it possible for us to add a custom tag for vimeo as well?    Any direction for that sort of thing in the documentation?

Also, is it possible to add 'buttons' to the editor so they just click the button and it puts the tags in like the other buttons?   I haven't even gotten deep enough in to see what the editor is to know if it's customizable like that.

Yes, although its non-trivial.

From memory, when I added a youtube button for my site it required about a half dozen changes spread over multiple files.
