I propose you make it easier to seperate the welcome greeting into one for logged-in members, and another for guests. I accomplished this task by clearing out the welcome greeting altogether, and instead included my greetings into the language slots for global.ini 's WELCOME, and WELCOME_BACK respectivly.

But for future developers, I think this could be made into a configuration option to make it much simpler.

A mechanism to do this already exists. Use the 'if_in_group' feature, e.g.

[if_in_group="1"]{+START,BOX,Visitors,100%,curved} [block]main_greeting[/block] {+END}[/if_in_group] [if_in_group="2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13"]{+START,BOX,Members,100%,curved}[block]main_greeting[/block] {+END}[/if_in_group]


That's my code, but you can adjust it to suit your needs. Remember that in ocPortal 'Guests/Visitors' are always a '1', 'Admin' a '2', and all the others follow meekly … !!
