Well-settled

Hi All,

Just wanted to say thanks for the weather block. it will be a great addition to our website.

We had enabled it however the problem is that it shows the temperature in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius and living in Australia we use Celsius. We can not find a way to alter this.

Is there a way for us to specify whether the weather is to be shown in Celsius instead of Fahrenheit? or are we stuck with Fahrenhei.

Thanks in advance

Try putting &u=c on the end of the region code you gave the block.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Hi Chris,

Thanks that worked a treat!

We did initially try using u=c after the region code, but it did not work, we were close, just not close enough!

Thanks for such great support!

I think you may have to consider firing yourself for that pun.

Seriously.

I sense a storm coming.
Someone is going to chop my block off.
