how to connect fb , twitter tagged etc mostly fb

hi ive configured the feature settings in the admin zone and applied my fb details there and configured it fb side too and ive added a block on the group page left hand side panel called recommend in preview it comes up but when i click the save button at bottom of the screen im still unable to see it any ideas also would like to put a like button form fb onto my website i have the correct code for it just unsure where to put the code

This add-on has become officially unsupported for the current version of ocPortal due to changes in the core API of these sites so unfortunately sorry it willl not work right now. However the developers have been improving it to work properly with the next version of ocPortal and I believe it iwll come iincluded as standard when that comes out. For now your choices are to do without till then or hire a developer to fix it for you if you do not know how to code yourself.

i get you so i would have to find the input the code directly myself well its something im already started trying out jsut got to find the right page coding for it then sweet lol and yes i always back up my entire site to me comp before palying round so if owt messes up i can just reload it  although i tend to work on it at night mainly due to traffic lol and thank you for letting me know that is very helpful i though i have done something wrong

oh and i ve tried up do the ocportal upgrade tool but everytime i use it it says invalid directory or unable to access and i know my ftp accounts are working im assuming i have set the directory wrong so something im running version 7.1.1  and unable to upgrade to 7.1.5

hi duck just to let you know i have sorted my problem i modifed the fb connection file and it now works throught the add block feature recommend just how i wanted it :D just need to get the like button working now lol my first proper modifying of code welll chuffed :D
