Simple information to know

Hello,

I need to know please if the ocPortal script uploads files to the disk space directly or to the MySQL databases entirely?

Thanks in advance

Are you talking about the instant transfer?

If so: Two files are uploaded to your directory. One is install.php. When you run that, you'll start creating tables and such in your SQL database. Your databases are not touched until the install script requires you to input data.

Thank you Eric, no I mean, after installation, there's a section on ocPortal "Downloads" where visitors can download the files I put on the website, I want to know, are these files uploaded to the database or on the disk space?

The files itself should be on the server (disk space as you call it).

One of my sites is a downloads site…. nothing but downloads. When you add a download, the file is put to the server and the info is stored within SQL.
