Im currently working on a OCP installation for a "Party Organisation" of a village near me, these guys run the party tent every year, and with much pleasure i must say. And they wish tohave a site to show off there pictures.. Is there a way to "Bulk Upload" images?

*edit* Just found it…. [insert] hit my forehead button here[/insert]

Its called import to gallery. Now im going to see how much i can upload.

Dutch Langpack gets tested on this site, so i can see if the context of the translation is good also.

I guess a warning in your line of work tends tomean 'run for cover'. Fortunately it's not so severe when it comes to computers ;).

This problem could happen if the file is too big for the server's upload-limit/post-limit. In this situation the server can't read what was passed through because it was basically swamped and lost track of it all. The limits can be tweated via the .htaccess file and defaults are in recommended.htaccess.

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Fan in training

I've got the same message "A critical parameter, file, was missing.".

My "upload_max_filesize" is 200M
My "post_max_size" is 200M

the size of the file, I tried to upload was ~100M

I noticed, that, when I restart apache, the error disappear.

May be that the problem is related with "memory_limit".
