Well-settled

After some hot fixes and updates I'm receiving error messages for my galleries. I've attached a screen shot of the error as well as the link to where I'm seeing this.

http://www.localmc.com/site/index.php?page=galleries&type=misc&id=localmc_tv

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance

Hi,

We had that bug through as an automated error email. I'll make sure we get a hotfix for that one.

(Sigh, too many hotfixes recently, I know :()

Did you get my reply to your ticket? I'll make sure all bugs are fixed on your site if I can get access. I don't like to have to make users mess about with hotfixes when really it's our fault.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Thanks Chris. I just did the hot fix and it opened the galleries back up but now my 'unsolder' block is wonky. Below is a screen shot:

Yes, this is that nasty "loss of Comcode permissions" bug. The script I posted in one of the hotfixes should fix that, or I'll run and check it for you.

If you could help I would be forever in your debt lol. All the hot fixes are getting a little confusing. What kind of access do you need?
