Hi,

I would like to add the count of the number of Paid Members on my site to the side stats block.

Paid Members is a group and I can see the count summary on this page:
Usergroups - The Mk1 Golf Owners Club
Is this value held anywhere?
Or is is calculated on the fly?
Can someone give the line of sql that I could use to get this count value ?

I can see that the side stats template takes what ever is supplied in CONTENT

Following through to side_stats.php code I think I can see where I might add some stat information to the tempcode that is passed in CONTENT.

Am I in the right place ?

Any help greatly appreciated !

Cheers
Ade

Yes, right place. Here's a hint…

Code

require_code('ocf_groups2');
$cnt=ocf_get_group_members_raw_count(12345);

As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

Excellent thanks for that.

I have it working.

I just really need to make it fit your wonderful modular approach like, languages, a new option etc - must dig into the code some more !!
