force_sitemap_generation.php ends with Yahoo API failureI am running 7.1 which is fantastic CMS, I became a fanatical OCP user However, I was trying to execute the force_sitemap_generation.php and ended in an error: search.yahooapis.com/SiteExplorerService/V1/ping… limit exceeded. The ocp_sitemap.xml is not getting updated even when I try to force it. I stumbled upon Yahoo's API site (http://developer.yahoo.com/search/siteexplorer/V1/ping.html) saying they will shut down the Ping API service in March 2011. So, I disabled option auto_submit_sitemap, forcing the ocp_sitemap.xml was ok then. Will there be a replacement for the Yahoo API support? Greets, Dirk |

It seems the sitemap submission has been diverted to Yahoo's Search Explorer feature. Additionally, although it has not to our knowledge had an end of life date set it would probably be an idea to use the new address for Bing. We'll be pushing these changes in the next update but if you want to fix this for yourself the new urls are: Code
// Submit to search engines
