I seem to be getting this error when I try to edit my profile, or any other profiles. and as far as I know, I haven't done anything which would cause this error and I am confused about it.

I am currently running on ocPortal 9.0.6. When I first started, I could edit profiles. All I have done so far is upload a few files to download and a few images. A couple of news articles and thats about it. Hope someone out there can help me out.

Error:
XML Parsing Error: not well-formed Location: http://thegaminghillbilly.com/site/index.php?page=members&type=view&id=gaminghillbilly#tab__edit Line Number 6950, Column 23: if (document.body && document.body.offsetWidth) return document.body.offsetWidth; ----------------------^

Hi Aaron,

The member profile editing runs over AJAX, which is XML, which is more sensitive to errors. You may have got some invalid code into your profile that our HTML-cleaner doesn't fix. I have an idea what, so I am running tests now.

I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

I'm not entirely sure about this actually. Your case should have been handled okay.

However, try this rather complex hotfix:
0001056: Not making XHTML scripting HTML-implied-CDATA compatible - ocPortal feature tracker

If this still won't work, I'd need to look directly on your server so you'd need to open a free bug report ticket with access details.

A translation is called for…

Apps that make
modern sites break!

Imagine being able to break all AJAX code on your website with a single click.*

With Attracta SEO Apps, you can! We can't spell the word 'Using' but we can file bogus patents for something that is just a simple Apache module that pastes HTML code on the end of web requests, even if those requests aren't HTML.

Through our affiliate deal with cPanel Inc, the world's latest corporate sell-out, our executives have made it really easy for you to break your website without even knowing who we at Attracta are.

Apps like Google Analytics, which previously required you to manually place JavaScript code into each of your site's pages, can now be added with one click. Supplant the working functionality on your own site with some functionality you only half wanted.

And because Attracta never actually alters your website's pages, you will have a hard time working out what the hell is happening.

Attracta SEO Apps - Truly, One-Click Fail™!

* Quick-Fail App breakage requires that your website be hosted with a webhost that uses the cPanel Control Panel. Enquire with your webhost if you are unsure.
