Any plans on adding V 1.7 of WowBB into the importing or integration scheme?

The sooner the better… this stuff looks great.

It's possible it works already, but if not, please consider sending a WowBB 1.7 database dump to chris@ocportal.com and I'll look into it for you.

It doesn't.  There were quite a few additions to the database and new functions in the PHP files (not sure if the 2nd part matters or not).

I get quite a few errors when trying to integrate WowBB 1.7 and get errors when trying to import over to the OCF board.

Do you want just a blank a database?  Would it be easier to do it that way or would you like one with tons of information?

One with some information in would help, but there doesn't have to be an enormous amount. :)

 this is now the error i am getting,

ocPortal error

Cannot connect to the FTP server Details here are intended for the website/system-administrator, not for regular website users. If you are a regular website user, please let the website staff deal with this problem. Depending on the error, you may need to edit base configuration file (the info.php file). ocProducts maintains full documentation for all procedures and tools. These may be found on the /../../../../. If you are unable to easily solve this problem, we may be contacted from our website and can help resolve it for you.

 The info.php file is empty, I added the following to the wowbb config file
global $HTTP_SERVER_VARS;
global $HTTP_COOKIE_VARS;
global $HTTP_ENV_VARS;
global $HTTP_GET_VARS;
global $HTTP_POST_VARS;
global $HTTP_POST_FILES;
global $HTTP_SESSION_VARS;

It looks like you entered invalid FTP details during the quick installer. Check that the host name specified for the FTP server really is an FTP server.

Hi,
I followed advice and installed the ocportal manual version. All went well until i tried to enter the admin zone, after entering password it returns with a blank page.

Another issue is the rss feed news, it shows an error
Could not open the RSS/Atom stream, /backend.php?type=rss&mode=news&filter=16,17,18,19,20 [could not connect to host]

Hi,

Please try renaming recommended.htaccess to .htaccess. It's likely your main error is being caused by PHP's memory limit, and this recommended version of the .htaccess file will set a higher limit.

It's likely the second error is a quirky webhost restriction - it may be that RSS isn't going to work on your server.
