Moving forward with Composr

ocPortal has been relaunched as Composr CMS, which is now in beta. ocPortal 9 will be superseded by Composr 10.

Head over to compo.sr for our new site, and to our migration roadmap. Existing ocPortal member accounts have been mirrored.

not playing...

Hi,
uploaded a  wmv video file with no problem and the video player is showing but when clicking the video play button nothing happens.

Any feedback appreciated.

Many variables here, Henrik, so I don't think anybody will be able to give you a specific answer to your particular problem.

A link to the 'misbehaving' WMV might be a good place to start …

However, my take on it, having successfully uploaded and played WMV, AVI, FLV and SWF is to first take a look at the browser.
  • If you're using IE, then I can't see what the problem is
  • If you're using FF, it is possible you haven't downloaded and activated the M$ plugin

Keep this thread informed if you still have problems - OR - if you fix it.

I tried it all over and this time it worked so it looks like it was a problem with the video file…
