Exploring the wiki I discovered that when viewing the tree for the wiki if you have multiple nested pages (child pages) if you collapse a nested tier it is impossible to reopen it. When you close a tier the icon changes to the down arrow to reopen, but when pressing it acts like another close and closes the tier your currently on. So in essence, it perpetually collapses upwards with no ability to reopen a collapse except on the highest tier.

Is there a fix for this?

When changing the websites base URL the Wiki+ tree page retains the original URL's links. This is not just a visual issue as the links actually link back to the original URL. I have cleared the cache after base URL change, but no resolution.

Fix: Make a new Wiki page to force tree update.

Will fix.

Probably an empty edit of the Wiki+ tree should workaround it too. i.e. just do an edit without changing it

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
