Something has Happened and has made Admin and CMS zones look odd

Something has happened and it has made Admin and CMS zones look odd. All the other zones look the same - only the appearance of the Admn & CMS zones have lost their ocP look. Any idea what happened?

I have done almost nothing to the site for a week. Here is a screen shot which describes the appearance.

Hi,

I'd try emptying the template cache. There are various server-side things that could have resulted in a CSS file in the template cache being blank.

  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

I just checked the site and all is back to normal - again without any participation on my part.

Does ocP auto clear the cache once a week or something?

some things will make the cache empty, like config changes or theme editing.

I also get this phenomena from time to time with any site, not just ocPortal's and I've concluded each time that the Internet was slow and the browser decided on a cell phone rendition of the site:ninja:

Ditto … I seem to get it too from time to time. And I also believe it's from the clever turtle speed.
