One of the thing I love about this ocPortal website is that when I go to my account profile I can click the 'Posts' tab to check in and see if I've had any responses. However, on my ocPortal website I dont seem to have the 'Posts' tab on my user profile pages. Did i miss something in the configuration. or can anyone tell me how to activate that feature?

Thanks in advance - The LocalMC Select image: ocf_emoticons/guitar

The activities addon removes the tab, as activities supersedes it essentially. You can delete sources_custom/hooks/systems/ocf_profiles/posts.php to bring it back.

I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Will I lose anything by deleting the PHP file? Also, I dont see the file. In fact I get as far as Sources_custom/hooks/systems/ and then I dont have a ocf_profiles folder or a posts.php in that directory.

The file is essentially empty, it just blocks the functionality.

Are you sure you're looking at the right ocPortal install? I did get the path wrong actually though, it is sources_custom/hooks/systems/profiles_tabs/posts.php

ok i found the file using the new path, but just so i'm clear, all i need to do is delete the posts.php file and the tab for "posts" will appear and be functional in the member's profile. is that right?
