Lost page formatting

Hello all,

I decided to finally implement the upgrade to Version 9, straight from Version 7.

Now my site has lost all the formatting it had, which I prefer, looks like a Wide Window format overrides the previous formatting. I am not very knowledgeable in programming is there any way I can simply reinstate the previous format I have in Version 7.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Please see www.optimalunity.org/community

Kind Regards...

Not sure what formatting you're talking about but sounds like you mean the website width maybe?

If so, go to Admin zone > Setup > Setup Wizard

And on Step 3 there should be a checkbox for "fixed-width". That checkbox specifies whether the website will have a set width regardless of the user's screen dimensions or if the website should just automatically adjust the width to the user's screen.

EDIT: Oh I see now, you're talking about the text formatting. Hmm... strange, I have recently upgraded my test environment from 7.1.6 to 9.0.2 and didn't lose any formatting but this concerns me since I'll be upgrading my production environment soon. =

Thanks "DoDD", I foolishly went into the Wizard and now some pictures have changed as well…

Was looking to go to the backup but stuck on figuring out where the file is, I used OCPrortal and backed up the Home directory but not sure where the file went…

Any help greatly appreciated.

There was a warning that version 9 is total different in using the theming way.

Yes, version 9 included massive changes to ocPortal's default theme. This means that any custom theme will have to be rebuilt before it will work with version 9.
