Think we had this in the past. Anyone remember the fix?

Where is this happening exactly? Does it break functionality?

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

In fact, this should not be possible. This is the line concerned:

Code

var form_cat_selector=document.getElementById('main_form'),i,element,count=0,found,foundButton;if(!form_cat_selector)return;

That last bit of code definitely is protecting against form_cat_selector being null, and is what I put in before.

I suspect your browser is caching the old JS file.

I guess it was just doing it after installation and setting up the configuration. I've been in admin zone after configuring wizard setup and so far it's not been showing. If it does again, I'll let you know.

It's baaaaaaaaack!   :'(

When trying to edit something in the Zone Editor…

An error occurred when loading this screen onto the web browser. You are being notified of this as you are staff. If you believe this is a bug in the website software, please contact ocProducts with full details. More details are available in your browser's error console. The error was:

28: isWYSIWYGField is not defined
http://xxxxxxxxxxxx.net/themes/default/templates_cached/EN/javascript_zone_editor.js

And it does break functionality. It opens up in a new window with the error and then when I close the error box and try to "edit", it starts all over again.

Update: Can edit now, but it turned WYSIWYG off automatically. It still automatically opens in a new TAB, not window (sorry).

That's a different error, but that should not be possible either.

'isWYSIWYGField' is defined in javascript_editing.js, which the Zone Editor always loads up. I'd check whether that Javascript file failed to load, or again was a really old cached version (browser caching probably).
