I added another event (to see if I get the same error as Fletch did…which I did not). When adding the event, the event is suppose to take place for one hour. When viewing the event, it shows it as one day.

Notice it shows: 09:00 (3rd)-10:00 (4th) (1 day)

It should say say something like: 9-10 PM (-58,980 minutes) and like my other hour event does:

Calendar event: House White Haven Group Hunts (EUR-)" IceMule Trace

It should also only be for the 4th.

Edit: I went into edit and it shows up correctly there. Just not when viewing. Odd!

Would the be fixed if I upgraded to the v5.0 Final?

Finally upgraded to 5.0 final and still having the problem, so upgrading didn't help.

Please try this. I should note both citations of events you made there are wrong. The first shows an event lasting 25 hours instead of 1 hour. The others show an event lasting a negative amount of time.

This fix definitely fixes the second issue, I'm not sure about the first – it may be related, or it may just be the event you added had the wrong settings.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
