I'm trying to find the file (with no luck) where to edit this text:

"Banners are shown on our banner exchange at the top of this site, and at various places at other sites, as well…."

I took the banner code off the top of the site,  so the "top of this site" isn't true.

Should be the banners language file.

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Honoured member

You just beat me in finding it, but thats not important. While posting here and read up I see that your time has an hour time difference with our Dutch time. Your message said 12:15PM while mine said (before I removed it) 13:31PM, so the time said here is 1:10 off.

Greetings Puran

21-7-1955 - 24-10-2011 I hope she rest in peace and I hope to see you soon.  Puran

Possibly you just need to set the time in your profile?

Ah, pointstore language file.
/lang/EN/pointstore.ini against the string BANNERS_DESCRIPTION

(I am assuming you are using the EN language file …)

Take my advice. I'm not using it!
