Looking for the setting to adjust the display colors for users groups, and their corresponding screen names? Seems simple enough - I just can't find it anywhere!

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Here is the area I am eluding to:

Want to set all users groups, aside from that of Administrators, to Blue.

Thanks much!

I can't find where you can set it in house either but I think you can set it via the ocf.css and the 15 gcol settings. Just make them all blue.

You can edit using the buil in CSS editor in ocPortal which is found under Admin Zone->Style->Themes then choose Edit CSS for your theme then you will select ocf.css and at the top of the file you'll see the colour settings for groups there and there is 15 of them starting with gcol_1 etc

e.g.

Code

{$THEME_WIZARD_COLOR,#9c029a,gcol_1,100% #9C029A}

change the #9c029a after $THEME_WIZARD_COLOR, to the colour number of your choice ( for a general blue here is one #0000ff)

This has been customised on your site, so quite different from the default code. I will reply to your e-mail, likely tomorrow - or please open a high or day priority support ticket if it is urgent.

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
