Hi everyone!

I was looking for some known problems upgrading to version 5, and did not find anything; however, I have tried several times, both using the online upgrader and the downloaded (manual) files, and wind up with so many errors that it is impossible to correct.

Has anyone else experienced problems? Can anyone give me some guidance?

I was attempting an upgrade from 4.1.12 to the current version.

I also tried a new install and replacing the differences in the database files, but that did not work either.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Psydoc

Hi,

Did you do the database upgrade bit of the upgrader?

What errors did you see?

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying Composr on fun personal projects.

Opps, sorry, I missed the bit about the errors. I did not get any errors. The message was, and I am paraphrasing cause I don't remember your exact coding, "it was successful".
