No, better to do exactly as the instructions say. Take the missing files from the full package and upload just those.

For the outdated files most of those are files from the default theme. Try running the file integrity scanner with theme upgrades and then let us know what is left after that.

There was an issue with the wrong file CRC database being included in the upgrades generated by ocportal.com, but I thought I'd fixed it. I need to re-investigate.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

To let you know that I got a similar issue after upgrading from 6.1.1-7.0.1 and running the file integrity scanner without themes upgrades. These themes were upgraded a few times between 5 to 6.1.
