Moving forward with Composr

ocPortal has been relaunched as Composr CMS, which is now in beta. ocPortal 9 will be superseded by Composr 10.

Head over to compo.sr for our new site, and to our migration roadmap. Existing ocPortal member accounts have been mirrored.

File missing

Hi

I download the new patch and I checked the archieve and the file is missing. How do I do the update please without the file?

After the files are up, open http://mybaseurl/force_upgrade.php in a web browser, login, and choose to clear cach

The upgrade has been done but I am getting a error message when I try and add a news item

Hi

I did the upgrade but when I try and add a new news item I am getting this error.

PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 020D3FC2

If I understand you correctly, you were saying the force_upgrade.php file is not included in the upgrade archive. This is because this file is a part of ocPortal, and not necessarily something that changes between patches.

The "Access Violation" error could not be directly caused by ocPortal, as this is PHP itself failing.
