Yeah, me again.   Kinda posting too many questions maybe.

I thought I saw something in the config where you could turn off ALL rating for the site.  I can't seem to find such a thing.  Does it exist, or was I mistaken?

Thanks

I believe you will find the switch in the EDIT _____ portion of the module. Such as in the Gallery module go to Content Management » Galleries » Edit gallery and  go down to Feedback and you will find the switch there.

I believe it is the same in the other modules that allow rating. I don't know of any other MASTER switch to control all the modules in the CMS package

For some reason 'gallery' is not showing up in my CMS screen or in the content pulldown in the adminzone.   Refreshed the cache.

I know I can edit the main gallery, and turn off ranking there.   But I found out (through using a test user) that if a regular user goes to add an image, they have the option to turn ratings on/off for that image, and it defaults on.

Maybe I just need to remove all 'ratings' code from the templates.

There is a site-wide option too.

Also in v8 it's statistical per-content-type. So if you usually uncheck, it will default unchecked.
