Hello there,

I installed the new 4.2 version now on a test domain, only my question is, what is True multi-language support and how does it works?

Can someone explain this more for me?

What I see is that it needs to be enabled somewhere, but I searched on multi-language even on language but can't find anything that can enable it.

Having a second language on the site should enable it automatically. You should see an action for it in the page actions in the footer, and it should be represented in the Admin Zone under the Style\Language icon.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

Also the option codenamed 'allow_international' must be on (use the Admin Zone to search for that).
