Just trying out the new version 4.2.2 and was focusing on the new shopping catalog. When I look at a product and click on the add to cart button I get the following error.

Expand: Click to view error Click to view error

I am wondering if anyone else has played with the new shopping catalog and if so have they had any problems. If so could you please share your experience and or fix.

Thanks in advance,

Rick Henson

Never mind, seems that you have to have a quantity in the system for it to function properly. Would be nice if it would give a more graceful error if the quantity was blank or zero. All in All an awesome addition...

Thanks, definite usability issue there - will be fixed in 4.3.0.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
