This isn't really a big deal to me, but I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this.

I've set up some reoccuring calendar dates, which the first of them start this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  I have them showing on my right side panel using the listing mode and they show fine.  I.E: Friday - category-name - event title.  However, I noticed when i went in to correct an error on one of the events, in the calendar editor it shows as Thursday, Friday and Saturday.   Odd … odd indeed.  has anyone else encountered this?

I haven't noticed this myself but I have noticed confusion for some members when their timezone was not set correctly and therefor dates and times did not line up as they should for that person. I would suggest inspect that area of thought just in case.

Prob not related since it is showing up fine in one area and not the other and I assume you didn't switch accounts or computers when doing so?

Noop.  Time zones are all ok.  Checked that first to be sure.  Also, I didn't use a different computer, nor was i logged in as another member.

Think this one was fixed already. BobS (IIRC) had similar problems.

  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.

I think probably a fix landed in 8.1. So if you are running 8.1 on this site, let us know.
