My standardbox headings are currently centered, as below:

As indicated in the screenshot, I want to move the headings to left-justify. I know I need to change the CSS for the standardbox but I want to leave the heading for the Editor's Pick (IOTD block) centered. How can I have just the IOTD standardbox heading centered?

Thanks for any help.

You need to add something like this:

Code

#iotd .standardbox_title_curved {
text-align: center;

}
That should restore centering to the standardbox, but only if it is within the iotd div.

Thanks, temp.

I can't even find where to make the standardbox left-align again. I've tried changing several of the text alignments for different boxes but no joy.

I think this will wait until tomorrow whenI'm fresh.

Thanks for your help.

1st guess would be in:

Code

.standardbox_title_classic, .tabletitle_internal, .standardbox_title_med, .standardbox_title_curved, .standardbox_title_curved_iesucks {...}
as that has the center command, but as that covers multiple other styles also, you should check that there are no unexpected side effects.

And if there are problems, then you could always add

Code

.standardbox_title_curved {
text-align: left;
}
as a new style AFTER my 1st guess.

Thanks, temp.

I think I tried that already with no effect. But I am running on fumes so I am going to wait until tomorrow to deal with it lest I totally bork things up.

thanks for the tip.

You need to add something like this:

Code

#iotd .standardbox_title_curved {
text-align: center;

}
That should restore centering to the standardbox, but only if it is within the iotd div.

And this worked perfectly, too.

Thanks, again.
