Is there a way to modify the order themes list in the site pull down menu

I created a number of themes to allow users to personalize their look on the website.  When they go to the "Profiles" "Edit" tab and click on the themes pull down menu all the available themes show up.

Is there a way I can order the themes so that they sort in an order I choose (ie: when you select the pull down menu it shows you the themes in alphabetical order, or in the order I choose such as most popular first, ...)?

I am using OCportal 9.0.13.

Thank you.

Hi,

No, but if it's not in alphabetical order already, we'd consider this a bug. I'll take a look.

As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.

Thanks Chris.

The hotfix worked for the users page, and that page now shows the themes alphabetically on the "profile" "edits" tab.

The hotfix appears to have created a problem in the admin zone "style" "themes" php file.  When I try to enter the theme editor using the admin zone styles-themes pulldown menu it will no longer open and I get the following stacktrace error:

PHP WARNING [2] filemtime() [<a href='http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.filemtime.php'>function.filemtime.php</a>]: stat failed for themes/0 in adminzone/pages/modules/admin_themes.php on line 285 (version: 9.0.13, PHP version: 5.4.30, URL: /adminzone/index.php?page=admin_themes&type=misc)

This problem was not present before applying the hotfix patch listed in the post above for the theme sorting.  I checked the file permissions and they all check out.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

PM.

Ah sorry, could you try it again please. I've updated the hotfix.

Thanks Chris.

The new hotfix works perfect!  Themes sort alphabetically and access to the themes through the admin panel works now too.

I went ahead and made a test theme to make sure that the theme wizard was not affected and it worked fine too.

No worries about the first hot fix.  There are so many links its easy for one to slip through.  If needed, I had the backup files to replace the ones that changed (as each of us asking for help should).

Thanks for the quick response again!  You and the ocPortal team seem to always provide top notch quick responses, so thank you.
