Hi,

In the Admin Zone I would upgrade v6 beta2 to v6 RC1 but got this message.

This is version 6 beta2. You are running the latest version.

Greetings Puran

Hi Puran,

I just finished upgrading and it went perfectly smooth. Just go here to get the link for the upgrade file and then go to yoursite/upgrader.php.

Hi,

Thanks for that Brian (right spelling this time ;)).
But I ment it also as that message says "Hé, there working here at ocPortal so come and get it!"
So if people didn't visit for a while it could be a reason to visit. You miss that if the message says the latest version.

Greetings Puran.

Nothing works for me there. 6 beta2 and 6.0.0 2 both not. The message above that says upgrading is not needed and the I can't find the script they are talking about, so I leave this for now. I have a theme to change from Fusion to ocP.

Was I helpful?
  • If not, please let us know how we can do better (please try and propose any bigger ideas in such a way that they are fundable and scalable).
  • If so, please let others know about ocPortal whenever you see the opportunity.
  • If my reply is too Vulcan or expressed too much in business-strategy terms, and not particularly personal, I apologise. As a company & project maintainer, time is very limited to me, so usually when I write a reply I try and make it generic advice to all readers. I'm also naturally a joined-up thinker, so I always express my thoughts in combined business and technical terms. I recognise not everyone likes that, don't let my Vulcan-thinking stop you enjoying ocPortal on fun personal projects.
  • If my response can inspire a community tutorial, that's a great way of giving back to the project as a user.
