Trying to get two blocks on one line

When I first setup ocPortal, there was the presence of two blocks on one line, with another block below them that made up the full width of the screen kinda

Here is an example using the IOTD block and the POLL block. You need to insert your code NOT IN THE WYSIWYG mode - so in the COMCODE editing box up in the upper left corner you will find this symbol "<>" …this is the HTML source toggle, click it so you can edit your code. Like I said this is an example.

Code

<div class="float_surrounder">
<div style="float: left; width: 48%;">
<span class="ocp_keep">

[block=&quot;current&quot; zone=&quot;_SEARCH&quot;]main_iotd
[/block]
</span>
</div>
<div style="float: right; width: 48%;">
<span class="ocp_keep">

[block zone=&quot;_SEARCH&quot;]main_poll
[/block]
</span>
</div>
</div>
You can change the width to whatever you like.

When I was a newbie, I had to play around with it for a while before I got it. You will discover what the code does as you play with it in your site development. Have fun and keep at it…
