Not sure what I've done here other than create a minor mess for myself. ;)

The image below is a screen (comcode page) with the block_cc_embed in it. The Quality Assurance bit is just text on the page and the Quality Assurance Manager is the catalogue entry title:

My problem started when I decided I didn't want the word "Entries:" to appear with line break underneath (appears just under Quality Assurance in this case; or rather, it used too :D). A quick scan of the templates on the page showed me the 5 templates that are being used with regards to catalogue display, but other than {ENTRIES}, there is no real reference as to where the text "Entries:" is being called. No matter, I'll just change the language entry for "Entries:" so that it is blank. Ooppss, that didn't work, the ":" still remains as the image shows. Back in to the language editor and now I can no longer find the entry section for this string, search no longer comes back with it. Can't find it in the database either. Now I'm stuck with a disembodied semicolon and line break.

Ideas?

TIA! SD

To see what lang string you edited look in lang_custom/EN/<whatever>.ini – overrides work per string so you can get a good idea what you changed from the short number of overridden ones.

CATALOGUE_DEFAULT_LINE_WRAP is the template you wanted.

The template tree should be useful when not sure what templates are used.

Hey Chris! Perfect, thanks. I did try the template tree, however it did not seem to yield the results I expected, so I left it (NOTE: generally speaking, the templates and templates tree is a great tool). I've attached a screen shot. Everything below block_side_menu is just a repeat of menu items all the way to the bottom of the page, but was too long to snap.

Oh right. Possibly if you add &keep_cache=0 to the URL it'd work. Block cacheing is probably getting in the way of the structure ocPortal can reflect.

That's a bug so we'll fix it. We'll also make keep_cache=0 effectively automatic for maximum results.
