Hey, just upgraded to the new bleeding edge RC, from version 6. All went well, all working and looking GREAT. There is one I would guess theming css thing that I cant for the life of me figure out though. The ads on the side (which are set up with the banner system and have always and are still serving properly, are now in a box that is showing scroll up and down, and left and right. I cant find a place to set an absolute value for the sides that would eliminate scroll like that. can you point me to the right solution? to view my problem in action, click:

Say Hello / Chat Transcripts - Dimestore Productions

and look for the side banners….

thanks in advance for what I know will be a simple fix cause OCP rocks so hard….

If you are adamant that you wish to use an 'iframe', try adding class="dynamic_iframe" immediately after 'iframe' and before the 'src'.

I think this is a bit 'kludgy', but it seems to work …

 :thumbs:

P.S. You will need to give the R/H panel iframe a height parameter (I used 440px) because the 'dynamic_iframe' property DID NOT adjust the height, displaying it at the full 900px!

Take my advice. I'm not using it!

This is what pulls the banner in the side column:

Code

{$SET,BANNER,{$BANNER,Tower}} {$,This is to avoid evaluating the banner parameter twice}<br />
{+START,IF_NON_EMPTY,{$GET,BANNER}}<br />
{$GET,BANNER}<br />
{+END}

and the banner itself is called as a php file that the banner system knows as tower, the code on that page is:

Code

<!-- Beginning of Project Wonderful ad code: -->
<!-- Ad box ID: 3120 -->
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var pw_d=document;
pw_d.projectwonderful_adbox_id = "3120";
pw_d.projectwonderful_adbox_type = "3";
pw_d.projectwonderful_foreground_color = "";
pw_d.projectwonderful_background_color = "";
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.projectwonderful.com/ad_display.js"></script>
<noscript><map name="admap3120" id="admap3120"><area href="http://www.projectwonderful.com/out_nojs.php?r=0&amp;c=0&amp;id=3120&amp;type=3" shape="rect" coords="0,0,160,600" title="" alt="" target="_blank" /></map>
<table cellpadding="0" border="0" cellspacing="0" width="160" bgcolor="#ffffff"><tr><td><img src="http://www.projectwonderful.com/nojs.php?id=3120&amp;type=3" width="160" height="600" usemap="#admap3120" border="0" alt="" /></td></tr><tr><td bgcolor="#ffffff" colspan="1"><center><a style="font-size:10px;color:#0000ff;text-decoration:none;line-height:1.2;font-weight:bold;font-family:Tahoma, verdana,arial,helvetica,sans-serif;text-transform: none;letter-spacing:normal;text-shadow:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:normal;" href="http://www.projectwonderful.com/advertisehere.php?id=3120&amp;type=3" target="_blank">Ads by Project Wonderful!  Your ad here, right now: $0</a></center></td></tr></table>
</noscript>
<!-- End of Project Wonderful ad code. -->

so where does the Iframe come from to edit the parameters of it?

The problem came from the Edit Banner type, which sets the size of the images. Where before the numbers were right for the Project Wonderful banners, in version 7.1RC1, they arent anymore, so I adjusted the image space there, and now they display without scrolling.

so, problem solved, if anyone else runs into that kind of problem with banners displaying.

Glad you fixed it. And, yes, it may well be of interest to others who are experiencing a similar problem.
