Setup Wizard STEP 6 - Confused

The following appear twice at top and then again toward bottom of Step 6 of the Setup Wizard? what's the difference? Why do they appear twice. It's confusing, if they are different then I would suggest this section being broken up some how.

I think it's that there are both main blocks and side blocks of these. The placements options should reflect this. Are they also under headings reflecting that? (I can't remember off-hand, thinking whether we need to consider tweaking this).

Yes, they are for main and then side blocks. It can be a bit confusing but i think it states that.

Right, the drop down placement locations are different, but at first blush and it's kinda confusing because your reading over the options available and what they provide without actually hitting the drop down for placement yet.

I got a much better understanding of it all after the wizard completed.  (3rd time around installing   ) And I edited the zone on the main site page.  then I hit Add block… that page there OPENED my eyes!   Now I get it.  Absolutely Fantastic there are many more options that what was on step 6 of the wizard.  The thing about that page was that it was clearly labeled and separated as to what each block did in what section.  Much clearer IMHO.

Now if I could just get admin back…    I did a su to test user and can't get back to being admin again… searching the forums and docs for that little trick now.

I did a lot of trial and error and poking around inside the setup area. It was easier for me to mess around and then ask questions later if I couldn't figure things out.

What's the best way to go about documenting my findings in regards to usability and user expected outcomes?

Currently Deploying, Theme, and Developing are my only options to post in.  Should I just hit them on a case by case and open a topic for each under Deploying?

Or is it better to create master topic for Usability Issues? and I post there?  

Please let me know.  I've got one right now with galleries, that I'd like to write up.

That Firefox addon is great - we use it internally all the time.

And since it's a quick answer, you can "un-SU" by removing the &keep_su=guest from your URL.

Phew, I've been consumed like a mad man working on OCP   

My Theme is looking pretty good and the functionality I'm looking for seems to be there.  I'm still testing away, but the more I use the system…. the greater the expanse of possibilities before me!

I'll post to the theme thread what I got so far.
